Subscription Plans#

heystox offers multiple subscription tiers:

Billing and Payments#

• All payments are handled securely by Lemon Squeezy, Inc. as the Merchant of Record.
• Accepted payment methods: major credit/debit cards and regional options supported by Lemon Squeezy.
• Prices include applicable VAT or sales tax, depending on your location.
• You will receive a digital invoice by email after every successful payment.

Automatic Renewal#

• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual).
• Renewal payments are charged using the payment method stored in your Lemon Squeezy account.
• You may cancel at any time before renewal to prevent future charges.

Cancellation#

You can cancel your subscription at any time by:

1. Accessing your Billing Portal link provided in the app, or
2. Contacting inbox@heystox.com for assistance.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access until the period expires. No further charges will be made after cancellation.

Refunds#

General Policy#

Because heystox provides digital content and services with immediate access, refunds are limited as follows:

• Refunds are only issued if required by law or in case of duplicate charges, technical issues, or service errors.
• Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge date to inbox@heystox.com.
• Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy, Inc. on behalf of Entwicklerherz GmbH.

EU Consumer Withdrawal Right#

Under EU law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)), your right of withdrawal expires once you explicitly agree that the digital content or service should be provided immediately after purchase.

During checkout, you must confirm:

"I request immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that my right of withdrawal expires once access is granted."

If you do not consent, access to the paid service will begin only after the 14-day withdrawal period.

Upgrades and Downgrades#

• You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
• When upgrading, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remaining period.
• When downgrading, changes take effect after the current billing cycle.
• Seat adjustments (Team and Enterprise Light) update billing automatically via Lemon Squeezy.

Failed Payments#

• If a payment fails, Lemon Squeezy will automatically retry the charge.
• If unsuccessful, your subscription may be paused until payment is completed.
• You will receive an email notification and can update your payment method at any time.

Termination by heystox#

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

• violate our Terms of Service,
• misuse AI or analytics tools, or
• attempt fraud or abuse billing systems.

Any unpaid balances remain due upon termination.

Taxes and Invoices#

• VAT and applicable taxes are automatically calculated based on your billing address.
• Invoices are generated and delivered automatically by Lemon Squeezy.
• heystox does not directly store payment data.
• All financial records are retained for the legally required period (usually 10 years in the EU).

Changes to This Policy#

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law or business operations. Any major updates will be announced on our website or via email. The "Last Updated" date above indicates the latest revision.
